Stations
Stations is a multi-lingual mini-oratorium based on the 14 stations of the cross (via crucis) The text was written by the Sourh African author Johann P. Boshoff.
Although various African elements are evident in this work, it is minimalism as compositional procedure that plays the central role. It was my intention to reduce and condense sound/music to the point where it would succumb to total silence.
